Service Description
This course is designed to help you build a consistent, supportive practice - whether you’re completely new to yoga or looking to deepen your existing routine. Over six weeks, you’ll develop strength, flexibility and confidence, while creating space to slow down and reconnect. 6 weeks yoga course Chakra radiance Through the practice of physical yoga poses (asanas), you will restore the healthy rhythm of your seven chakras (energy centre) and bring more peace to your mind, body, and spirit. What we will explore: Week 1 Root chakra – Muladhara Association: groundedness, concentration. Standing, balancing poses. Earth element Earth, Sky Pranayama Meditation on the mantra LAM Week 2 Sacral chakra – Swadhisthana Association: Circulation, creativity. Water element Ujjayi Ptanayama (ocean breath) Side stretching poses and hips opener to release tension and promote emotional balance and creativity. Meditation on the mantra Vam Week 3: Navel Chakra - Manipura Association: Digestion, maintenance of the body’s temperature, general health of the physical body. Increase will power, confidence, vitality. Fire element Breath of fire pranayama Forward bend poses abdominal strengthening and twisting poses. Meditation on the mantra RAM Week 4: Heart Chakra – Anahata Association: Giving and receiving, unconditional love, deep contentment. Air element Bhastrika pranayama (bellow breath) Heart opening, back bending poses Meditation on the mantra YUM Week 5: Throat Chakra – Vishuddha Association: Self expression, sound, purification. Working on the blockages of the body and mind. Ether element Bhramari pranayama ( Humming bee breath) Poses that focus on the restriction and expansion of the throat Meditation on the mantra HAM Week 6: Third Eye and Crown Chakras - Ajnas and Sahasrara Association: intuition. Inner guidance. Nadi shodhana pranayama (alternate nostrils breathing) Balancing poses and inversions.
