Welcome to The Vale Wellness Studio (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By booking or attending a class, retreat, workshop, or event with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before participation.

1. General Terms
1.1. These Terms apply to all classes, retreats, workshops, events, private sessions and memberships at The Vale Wellness Studio.
1.2. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website and displayed at the studio.
1.3. All bookings are subject to availability.

2. Health & Safety
2.1. You are responsible for ensuring you are physically and mentally fit to participate in our classes.
2.2. You must inform your instructor of any injuries, illnesses, medical conditions, or pregnancy before class.
2.3. Participation is at your own risk. The Vale Wellness Studio and its instructors are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during or after class, except where caused by our negligence.
2.4. Instructors may modify or stop your participation if they believe a movement or exercise could risk your safety.
2.5. Please wear appropriate clothing and use any equipment safely and as directed.

3. Booking & Attendance
3.1. All classes must be booked in advance through our website, app, or reception.
3.2. You must arrive on time. For safety reasons, late arrivals may not be admitted once the class has begun.
3.3. Please sign in at reception before each class.
3.4. We reserve the right to refuse entry or cancel a booking at our discretion (e.g., for safety or conduct concerns).

4. Cancellations & Refund Policy
4.1. Class Cancellations by Clients:

Cancellations made more than 12 hours before the class start time will be credited or refunded (depending on your booking type).

Cancellations made within 12 hours of the start time will be charged in full.

Cancellations made less than 2 hours of start time will incur a £5 charge.
4.2. Courses:

All courses are non-transferable and non-refundable unless required by law.

Expiry dates are fixed and cannot be extended except at our discretion.
4.3. Studio Cancellations:

If we cancel a class, session, or workshop, you will be offered a full refund or class credit.
4.4. Monthly Membership Cancellations:

Monthly memberships are billed automatically on a recurring basis from the date of purchase or renewal.

You may cancel your monthly membership at any time by providing at least 14 days’ written notice before your next billing date.

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to team@thevalecafestudio.co.uk Cancellations made after this period will take effect at the end of the following billing cycle.

No refunds or partial credits will be issued for unused portions of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend a membership at any time due to non-payment, misconduct, or breach of these Terms.

If your membership includes a minimum commitment period (e.g., 3 or 6 months), cancellation will only take effect after that term has been completed unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Membership benefits (including class access or discounts) will end immediately upon cancellation taking effect.

5. Conduct & Etiquette
5.1. Please respect our instructors, staff, and fellow clients at all times.
5.2. Mobile phones must be on silent during class.
5.3. Cleanliness and personal hygiene are essential — please wipe down mats and equipment after use.
5.4. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful.

6. Personal Belongings
6.1. You are responsible for your belongings.
6.2. The Vale Wellness Studio is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.

7. Photography & Marketing
7.1. From time to time, we may take photos or videos in the studio for marketing purposes.
7.2. If you do not wish to appear in these, please inform the instructor or receptionist before the session begins.

8. Privacy & Data Protection
8.1. We handle all personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
8.2. By booking a class, you consent to us storing and using your personal data for administrative and communication purposes.
8.3. We will never sell or share your information with third parties without your consent.

9. Liability
9.1. Participation in classes is entirely at your own risk.
9.2. The Vale Wellness Studio, its instructors, and staff accept no responsibility for injuries, illnesses, or damages sustained as a result of participation, except where caused by our negligence.
9.3. You agree to release and hold harmless The Vale Wellness Studio from all claims or causes of action arising from participation.

10. Health Protocols
10.1. Please do not attend the studio if you are unwell or showing symptoms of contagious illness.
10.2. We may implement temporary measures (e.g., reduced capacity, distancing) as required by government or local guidance.

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
